Beaverun Motorsports complex opened for competition for the first time in 2008 on May 4th. A damp and dreary morning practice saw Livengood topping the time sheets. He would however be denied pole position by a little over a tenth by the new to TAG but blisteringly fast Chris Horan. Livengood fought back in the prefinal as Horan's inexperience showed. At the drop of the flag Horan was slow to go and Livengood drove into the lead never to look back. The final was a repeat of the prefinal. Horan pressured Livengood throughout the 12 lap duration of the final but was unable to make an impression on Livengood.
